FREE WORKSHOP

The National Black Theatre Festival®-Artist Network Showcase Workshop (“Showcase”) is the perfect place to make the Artist/Producer connection. The Showcase is an audition/interview process that provides a structured environment for artists to meet and be interviewed by producers, directors, and arts presenters. The panelists include representatives from across the United States as well as companies with productions at the 2011 National Black Theatre Festival®. Several Showcase participants have been hired by attending panelists.

Showcase admittance is FREE and By Appointment Only. Artists must be at the National Black Theatre Festival® to sign up for an appointment.

Sign-up Dates are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, August 2 - 4, 2011; 10:00am - 2:00pm & 4:00pm - 7:00pm and Friday, August 5, 2011; 10:00am - 11:55am.

The Showcase takes place on Thursday and Friday, August 4 and 5, 2011, between the hours of 10:00am - 12:00pm.

When signing up - Artists should come prepared with a minimum of twenty-five (25):
Actors:            Picture Resumes
Designers:      Resumes with Sample Designs
Technicians:   Resumes with Samples
Playwrights:   Resumes with Writing Sample
Stage Mngrs: Resumes

Get out and support your fellow artists during the 2011 National Black Theatre Festival. There is much great art to be enjoyed.
